100 word challenge week 10

When I was at a safari park I saw some amazing things. There were hippos fighting, rhinos charging and lions roaring. But the most interesting thing was a meerkat hatching from an egg. When we had been through everything I had to choose which animal was my favourite. That was SO difficult. Was it the eye to eye talk with the rhinos or having my head almost bitten off by a lion, or even the elephant picking me up and letting me ride on its back? After going through everything I decided that the tiger with the zebra crossing back was my favourite.

Its nice to get out of the wind

On Monday then I went to Spurn Point with my Mum and my Dad. It was very windy and cold so we couldn't go paddling. I found a little shelter so we could get out of the wind. There were lots of brown, hairy caterpillars that my Mum didn't like. After then we went to Withernsea, a small town that had 3 bouncy castles! Here is a picture of the caterpillars climbing a pipe.

There was a bouncy slide at Withernsea thats was really fast and you shot off the end when you went down.I went down head first and shot off the end like a missile!

100 word challenge week 8

There was once a 10 year old boy called Robert Jones. One day when he was at school he found an old book in the libary. Robert went to his teacher and said, "Miss, what's this book?"
"I think it's a story book," replied his teacher."I'll read one of the storys to you." The teacher opened the book and read, "Once upon a time in 2011 a great monster ruled the land. My great Grandad Robert Jones defeated it even though he was only 10 years old."
Robert looked very confused but then heard a huge ROAR . Robert knew it was the beast and went to defeat it using the book. It was only the cat though but he squashed it anyway.

100 word challenge week 3

There was once an elephant that lived in a cave. He didn't have any water to drink so he was very thirsty. Every night he wished that he would suddenly start to rain and make a lake so he could drink it all up. Then one day it did rain, but instead of making a lake it made a waterfall. When the elephant woke up he thought, 'What's that splashing noise?'. He went outside and found the waterfall was right outside his house! The elephant drank and played in the water all day because he was so happy.

100 word challenge week 2

This is my second entry for the 100 word challenge

The aquarium had a massive pool made of glass that you could walk on top of and underneath. When you were underneath then the crystal water was so clear that you could see the bottom of the people walking on the top.  Swimming around there were the most beautiful fish and the scariest sharks. My favorite fish was the rainbow fish. It glittered in the light like a marble church. The ugliest creature was the fathead. It looked like a blob of glue with a big nose!

Here is my entry for the 100 word challenge.


Wind decided to go on holiday to Germany. He asked if his friends, Sun and Rain, would like to come with him. Sun couldn't come because it was summer and he had to shine. As Wind and Rain came to the Black Forest Rain pushed Wind into the forest. Wind howled through the trees trying to find the way out but he came across a cottage. He smelt lots of lovely Black Forest Gateau. Rain found Wind and tried to rain on him but the cottage had an open window and Wind sneaked in before Rain could rain on him.
